The food is excellent. Some of the best in Michigan. The ambiance is amazing and the service is some of the best. New style scallops are a must order.

Hands down best sushi in metro Detroit and that's coming from someone who's from the west coast and lived in Hawaii for 4 years. The fish is always fresh, service is phenomenal and the vibe is always on point. I've tried every sushi roll on the menu but my favorite would have to be the hamachi jalepeno, if you like something with a little kick this is a must try, the tuna is so buttery and soft, it just melts in your mouth. The juraku roll is another must if you like anything pickled. The combination of salmon and pickled jalepeno is to die for. Another must try is the crispy rice tuna, so flavorful. Their menu rotates every so often so if you happen to be there when they offer the lamb chops you must get those! My husband can't stop raving about them. Can't wait for our next visit!

This is a cool little place in Birmingham. The restaurant is in a house that has great ambiance and decor. It's upscale and not loud, perfect for small and large groups. The service was great! Staff and waiters were quick, friendly and attentive! They gave us great recommendations about dessert and mocktails! The food was delicious! Loved it and definitely will be back! The maki rolls were really good. We had a great time and highly recommend this to others!

We had a great experience. The food was incredible. Very unique and creative plates. I thought it was a fun tasting experience. We had an issue with a gift card being redeemed. Something with the system. But they were incredibly gracious and even brought over free desserts to help make up for the error. The dessert, the butter cake, was exceptional. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable in the menu. He helped us every step of the way, pairing together different rolls so we had a good tasting. He knew every single roll and was very happy to help. We felt very cared for and appreciated. And the sushi was so good! I've never left a sushi place so full!

Adachi checked all the boxes for an amazing night out--great cocktails, gorgeous and unique space, delicious food, attentive service, and plenty of outdoor seating -- the weather couldn't be more perfect. Our food was better than I expected. Was sad the octopus was out but we made some great choices to make up for it. Our favorite was the king salmon sashimi---it just melts in your mouth. Loved the ginger sauce it was served in, light and full of flavor. Loved our cocktails: White Rabbit and Copper Fedora. Would order again. Both were not too sweet (perfect if you're like me and don't like sweet drinks) they were great twists on some classic flavors. Hope to be back again!

I ordered takeout from Adachi but it truly is a stunning restaurant and the staff are very friendly. I ordered the Eel Avocado Cut Roll, Juraku Roll, and Unkai Roll. The Eel avocado had a stunning piece of eel, nice and soft with eel sauce on the side as to not overdress the roll. The Unkai roll was also really delicious with a really beautiful sauce to accompany it. The fish all melted in your mouth and really was a harmony of flavors. My favorite was the Juraku roll as it was super refreshing with the soy like sauce and have a lovely spice from the jalapeño. It was topped with flakey salt too and that added a little crunch to the dish. Overall, Adachi is a great sushi spot in Birmingham, there are parking spots surrounding it and so many garages in the area. It is a little pricey so a great special occasion spot :)

Excellent upscale dining Japanese fusion style. I met a girlfriend for Happy Hour. The Happy Hour menu is small but excellent with short hours 3-5pm. Their specialty highball whiskey drink is on Happy Hour too. I loved the super fizzy drink, with little to no sugar and a lemon peel. It was refreshing. Our server was very nice and personable. He had great recommendations from drinks to food. The dining room is modern and sparse but clean. This is the only note I have for this restaurant - the chairs suck. It's those metal chairs that have arms that cut into your hips if you're above a certain size. Yeah. Idk why restaurants decide to get these chairs when clearly they haven't sat in them or considered the plethora of sizes that would be using them. The kani crab salad was my favorite. It s a large bowl of lettuce with crab, spicy dressing and topped with tempura crunch. The hamachi and jalapeño roll. It was spicy but very good. Lastly, I had to try the slow cooked beef ribs. They had a great flavor but I was missing something. The fat in the rib meat maybe. Still very good. I look forward to going back.
